• Production troubleshooting and incidents handling
• Perform telecom product implementation, functional, interoperability, and acceptance testing (verify the required interfaces using Linux/UNIX/Windows Server high level languages).
• Update and track tests results, issues and associated test frameworks in partnership with development team.
• Define, create & execute manual and automated tests as needed for the entire business solution.
• Produce high quality documents and regular reports
• Identify, diagnose, report, and assist development team in resolving defects and verifying bug fixes.
• Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with R&D to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with global test team members to ensure clarity on deliverables, establish QA practices and promote knowledge transfer. Provides feedback to improve the testability or design of an end-to-end business solution.
• Facilitate communications between Customer teams, project manager and internal stakeholders
• Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
• Managing processes and ensuring to achieve targets in time.
• Collaboration with R&D experts and staff members responsible for operations at the production site.
• Sustainable Customer Relationship Management (define specific customer demands and comply with them in the product implementation, technical advice, etc.)
• Produce high quality documents and regular reports
• Oracle (OCA) / Linux (SUSE)/ Software Testing (ISTQB) or other related professional certifications.
• Knowledge of test/QA processes and methodologies including execution and automation of tests.
• Experience in creating test environments and knowledge of performance test tools and simulators.
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems & defect management systems (JIRA, Confluence,.)
• Knowledge of Python, C, C++, Java or any other computer languages.
• Bachelor's degree in a Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science/ Engineering / Mathematical discipline or relevant skills or equivalent professional experience.
• General understanding of database management systems and operating systems.
• SQL/ Oracle / Linux certifications/scripting or a college project that you were involved in is considered a plus.
• Prefer candidates possessing commercial experience implementing software solutions on UNIX and Linux platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with peers and management.
• Ability to interact with diverse customers in a multi-cultural environment.
• English fluent; French and German preferable
• Deep competence of software engineering (BSS&OSS systems) and testing
• Excellent knowledge of testing strategies, procedures, ticketing and bug tracking tools
